I’m just trying to get my gum back! A very funny story, that’s all too true, as I, a father of 5, can attest to!
A young couple took their two-year-old daughter to the home-improvement store. The little girl got tired of walking, and so her daddy let her ride on his shoulders. As he walked, the little girl began pulling his hair. After several somewhat-polite requests for her to stop, the little girl persisted in pulling her father’s hair.
“I told you to stop that!” the father barked.
The little girl replied, “But Daddy, I’m just trying to get my gum back!”
