Ain’t going to stop saying ain’t

Ain’t going to stop saying ain’t … when a grammar lesson simply goes wrong …

Teacher: Please use “going” in a sentence, Joe.

Joe: I ain’t going to be late for the party.

Teacher: That’s close, Joe, but you must not say “I ain’t going.” You should instead say, I am not going; he is not going; we are not going; or they are not going.

Joe: Well, Teacher, if ain’t nobody going then what’s the point of the party?
