The new recruit, on guard duty for the first time, was told to challenge anyone who didn’t have a blue card.
The General came to the gate. He didn’t have his blue card with him. The recruit challenged the General. The General said he was coming in anyway.
The Private replied, ‘Who do I shoot? You or the Driver? I’m new at this guard duty business.’
